The most respected cycling event, voted Florida’s best ride by riders like you! The 2 Day event kicks off Saturday, April 20, 2013 from FIU's Modesto Maidique Campus at 7:00am , stops overnight at the MS Village in Key Largo (Key Largo Resort), then heads back to FIU on Sunday for the finale. .The best cycling event in Florida is going on its 27th year, and it just keeps getting better!  What is MS? Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. The symptoms include blurred or double vision, numbness or tingling in the limbs and can become as severe as paralysis or total loss of vision. Diagnosis usually occurs between the ages of 15 and 50, but the unpredictable physical and emotional effects are life-long. We ride for those who cannot. We ride to find a cure. We ride to create a world free of multiple sclerosis.

The only son of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall is launching an annual film festival that honors his dad in — where else? — the Florida resort town of Key Largo. The inaugural Humphrey Bogart Film Festival will take place in May in the spot made famous by the tense 1948 Bogart-Bacall thriller Key Largo. The Warner Bros. film was directed by John Huston and also starred Edward G. Robinson, Lionel Barrymore and best supporting actress winner Claire Trevor.

THE 2013 RACES
 The 6th annual KEYS100 will be held the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2013. The race is a point-to-point event beginning in Key Largo (or Marathon, for the 50 mile race) and ending in Key West on the Atlantic Ocean at Higgs Beach. KEYS100 also promotes charitable fundraising for prostate cancer education, free screenings and more. Again in 2013, we are proud to support the work of the "Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys". Individual runners and teams are invited to earn a refund of their full race entry fee by raising funds for the "Foundation". (Visit the "Registration" page for details.) 

The KEYS100 includes three distinct competitions: individual races of 100 miles and 50 miles, and our original South Florida six runner 100 mile team relay race. In the individual races, runners may compete with a support crew or without. Eleven (11) full aid stations serve all individual runners; these are located at approximately ten (10) mile intervals. Coolers with ice and water are positioned at approximately five (5) mile intervals. People competing without a crew may place drop bags with personal gear at five (5) different support stations along the route, and at two (2) stations for the 50 mile race. Over 900 people competed in the 2012 KEYS100. That number is expected to exceed 1,200 in 2013.
